As the year draws to a close, FSA is pulling out all the stops with a record number of lots under the hammer—more than 1100 in total! This last auction of 2023 will appeal to both major collectors and everyday enthusiasts looking for new discoveries.
Three unique lots will be up for auction:
The Armada range is composed exclusively of single casks from the 1990s and 2000s. Armada 2000 is the next bottle to be released, in early 2024. This Jeroboam offers an exclusive preview of this exceptional rum, presented with a unique label painted by Martinique artist Carole Aurore.
The presentation box and labels for these two single casks from the Chichibu distillery were illustrated by the famous Japanese designer and whisky enthusiast Shinichiro Ogata. The labels reference two moments of the day, dawn (Akatsuki) and dusk (Tasogare). In this way, these two Chichibu 2014s reveal the distillery’s two faces, one fresh, lively and pure, the other smooth and peaty.
An incredible bottle from the brand’s heritage, this Petite Champagne cognac has been certified authentic by a sworn broker and is presented in a unique gift box.
Only five bottles exist, No. 4 is under the hammer in this auction.
This auction will also feature a unique collection of bottles from Scottish independent bottler Cadenhead. More than 700 different bottles will go under the hammer. They include whiskies from the 1970s to the 2000s from many highly sought-after distilleries, some matured in wine and sherry casks.
The platform’s usual suspects will also put on an impressive show, with legendary Japanese bottlings of Karuizawa, Hibiki, Hanyu, Kawasaki, Nikka, Yamazaki and Chichibu up for auction. And, of course, rums from the iconic bottler Velier, including a handful of rare Caroni, rhum agricoles and some outstanding Chartreuses.
Have an excellent auction!
