We are pleased to present an exceptional lot, offered in partnership with Diageo: a 1979 Port Ellen Cask of Distinction. At the time of the sale, the cask is 48 years old and contains the equivalent of 73 bottles at 51.4% ABV. Its new owner will have the option to continue its maturation until the whisky reaches its 50th anniversary, on 16 February 2029. Storage and bottling are included in this unique offering, and the Port Ellen will be bottled in its official presentation. Further details can be found on the lot page.
The sale extends well beyond this remarkable cask, with a new season catalogue featuring more than 1400 rare bottles. In addition, in partnership with Whisky Live Paris 2026, we will launch the fifth edition of our charity auction in support of the GoodPlanet Foundation. This dedicated sale will go live on 26 September, coinciding with the opening of Whisky Live Paris, and will close on 2 October.
Fine Spirits Auction marks the end of summer with a selection of venerable bottles from across the world of spirits. Highlights include Chartreuse Fourvoirie 1878/1903, Highland Park 50 Year Old 1960, the 1967 Aberlour leather presentation case and Hanyu Joker Monochrome. Collectors will also find notable selections of Ardbeg, Velier rums and bottlings from La Favorite.
For this fifth edition of the Whisky Live Paris charity auction, Fine Spirits Auction and its partners are pleased to present 27 exceptional lots. Each will be displayed during the event at the Grande Halle de La Villette. This year’s selection includes Chichibu, Macallan, Caroni, Glenfarclas, Blanton’s, Neisson, Nikka, Planteray, Hampden and more. Once again, we would like to thank all participating brands for their generosity.
We wish you all successful bidding.
