For this autumn auction, more than 850 bottles from around the world have been brought together on Fine Spirits Auction. From the most prestigious names — venerable Scotch and Japanese single malts, old agricole rums and cognacs — to the most exciting emerging categories such as Chartreuse, Bourbon, and the ever-evolving French whisky scene, this selection offers a true journey through the world of fine spirits.
Among the legendary bottlings, we are delighted to once again present several editions of Black Bowmore 1964, a stunning Laphroaig Sherry Cask 1974, and a remarkable line-up of Macallan and Springbank, including the iconic 1966 and 1968 vintages.
Collectors will also discover a Yamazaki / Hakushu 25-year-old duo, several Karuizawa series, and, in a change of scenery, a beautiful collection of agricole rums from the 1990s.
Bourbon and Chartreuse, perennial favorites in our auctions, are once again well represented. Highlights include Pappy Van Winkle, Blanton’s, and — more rarely seen on FSA — a superb Very Old Fitzgerald 12-Year-Old. From Isère comes an exceptional selection of episcopal Chartreuse, a festival of V.E.P. bottlings, and even a majestic Jeroboam.
It would be impossible to launch this sale without mentioning the invigorating presence of a collection of nearly 150 whiskies from Brittany, France. Starting with early bottlings from Celtic Whisky Compagnie, and quickly moving to resolutely local icons such as Glann ar Mor, Kornog, and Armorik, this selection pays homage to the dynamism of France’s coastal distilleries.
